Alex Warren Announces New Album ‘You’ll Be Alright, Kid’: Here’s When It Arrives
Alex Warren is doing more than alright on charts with hit single “Ordinary,” and soon, he’ll be adding a new album to the mix.
On Tuesday (June 3), the singer-songwriter announced that the second chapter of his 2024 LP, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, will arrive July 18, featuring 10 new tracks. On Instagram, he shared the project’s cover art, which features a photo of Warren lying back in a field of grass while looking softly into the camera.
In addition to “Ordinary,” the complete You’ll Be Alright, Kid set will feature the newly released Jelly Roll duet “Bloodline,” as well as songs titled “Eternity,” “The Outside,” “First Time on Earth,” “Never Be Far,” “Everything,” “Getaway Car,” “Who I Am” and “You Can’t Stop This.” According to the press release, the full You’ll Be Alright, Kid album will be split into two discs, with the new songs appearing on Disc 1.
The announcement comes about eight months after Warren first dropped You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) in September 2024. Following the runaway success of “Ordinary” earlier this year, the LP reached a new peak of No. 13 on the Billboard 200 in June.
The TikToker’s album news also comes the same week that “Ordinary” claimed the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Warren’s first-ever No. 1 hit and making him only the seventh artist born in the 2000s to reach the chart’s summit. The track also opens at No. 1 on Billboard‘s first Songs of the Summer chart of 2025.
