Isabella Galan – General Manager
As General Manager it’s my job to oversee all operations of the station and act as the alumnus liaison to the student body. I am also the Executive Producer and Lead Host of A Brief Intermission, and I previously served as the 2024 Web Director and 2025 Vice President of Operations. Z89 has always been a place where I not only get to make amazing connections with the other members of the staff, but also can find ways to connect with the listeners in a new way every single day. I am beyond thankful for the mentors this station has given me and the opportunity to serve as a mentor for others as this year’s General Manager.

Elizabeth Gottlieb – Vice President of Programming
As Programming Director, I oversee the Music, Sports, News and Production departments as well as program all of the music that plays on Your Party Station! I am so grateful that I joined Z89 my freshman year, because I immediately fell in love with this industry. I enjoy getting to blend my interests and get creative on the air and behind the scenes.

Grayce Wilson – Vice President of Operations
Hi! I’m a Broadcast & Digital Journalism major from Northwestern PA with a love for all things media. I’ve been at Z for two years, and it’s been a huge part of growing my voice, experience, and career goals.

Liz Forsatz – Vice President of Business
As the Vice President of Business, I oversee the Social Media, Public Relations, Design, and Website directors, who together create our hardworking business branch. I also manage the budget and financial aspects of the station, ensuring our finances are in top shape! Z89, being a fully student-run station, is a place where I have found such a special school community and work environment to gain real-world experience.

Cate Galante – Music Director
As Music Director, I am in charge of programming in songs at the station using NextGen and G Selector, tracking attendance, and curating show rosters alongside our VP of Programming! First semester Freshman year, I knew I had to join Z89- I got cleared right away and it has been a highlight of my college experience. I am so grateful that I get to serve on the executive board for an organization that has given so much to me!

Alex Burstein – Sports Director
As the leader of Z89’s sports department, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the “Central New York Sports Leader” and our coverage of Section III Football, Syracuse Women’s Basketball, and Syracuse Women’s Lacrosse. Z has given me my first chance to broadcast Division 1 athletics and I’m excited to give other those opportunities to others while expanding our school’s coverage of often overlooked sports.

Clara Pappas – News Director
As News Director, I manage our three news shows: Red Carpet Report, Orange State and A Brief Intermission. I program and oversee the shows’ stories and content. It is such a privilege to support and help grow the news department at Z89. I’ve met true friends and supportive mentors throughout my time at the station and within the department. I’m excited to see what’s next!

Maddy Osborne – Social Media Director
As Social Media Director, I manage all social media platforms for Z89, creating engaging content to highlight the station and all the amazing shows that we have. Z89 is a place where your creativity can grow and flourish, and I can’t wait to keep seeing what we can accomplish!

Ken Tucker – Engineering Director
As the engineering director I am responsible for technological maintenance at Z89.

Layne Yeager – Human Resources Director
As HR Director, I am responsible for training all of the station’s new members, ensuring that they feel welcomed, informed, and prepared to succeed. Additionally, I handle all interpersonal conflict that arises among station members. Growing up, listening to the radio with my parents was one of my favorite things, so being on the opposite end and having the ability to connect with listeners at Z89 is incredibly impactful. My fellow staff inspire me every single day with their work ethic and creativity, and I can’t imagine spending my time with anyone else.

Madlyn Ritter – Sponsorships/PR Director
I oversee the press team, in which we attend events both on and off campus to capture photo, video, and interviews. I am also in charge of connecting with local businesses as well as artists, both local and other. Z89 was one of the first organizations I joined on campus and has been an amazing experience. I love everything about the station and I’m so excited for all of our coverage and connections!

Eliana Hebert – Web Director
As Web Director, I manage the content that goes onto our official website, including articles, interviews, and the general organization of the site. I love being part of Z89 because of all of the amazing people here and how many opportunities there are to get involved! I’m super excited for this role, and to continue broadcasting on your party station!

Elie Gelman – Production Director
As Production Director, I oversee all podcasts produced by the station, ensuring each show sounds its best from start to finish. I help with the production of on-air liners, manage 12 podcasts and lead a team of 20 associate producers to deliver consistent and high-quality audio content.

Daniel Zaslow – Legal Director
As Legal Director, I am responsible for the station’s compliance with FCC guidelines and regulations. In other words, I make sure everyone knows what they can and cannot say on the radio!

Maddie Santoriello – Design Director
As Design Director, I shape the visual identity of Z89 through graphics, branding, and creative content across its platforms. I joined Z89 because of its creativity and the people behind it, a welcoming and driven community that constantly inspires growth. As a TRF major with a passion for storytelling, Z has given me the opportunity to push myself creatively every day, and I’m excited to continue contributing to the station’s energy and vision!
