With the holiday season upon us, today’s top music stars are keeping us warm with hot new releases.
To kick things off, Linkin Park returned with their eighth studio album, From Zero, via Warner Records, marking the first project from the band since the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017. The new lineup features co-vocalist Emily Armstrong on singles like “The Emptiness Machine” and “Heavy Is the Crown.”
Over in the pop world, Tate McRae dropped her sultry new single “2 Hands,” which is set to be featured on her upcoming third studio album, So Close to What, set for release on February 21. Meanwhile, Shawn Mendes got vulnerable on his fifth studio album, Shawn, which features previously released singles “Why Why Why,” “Isn’t That Enough,” “Nobody Knows” and “Heart of Gold.” BTS’ Jin also officially embarked on his solo journey with the release of Happy, his debut solo project.
In the country scene, Shaboozey is bouncing off a great year with the release of his new single, “Good News,” his first new single since the release of his Billboard chart-topping Where I’ve Been Isn’t Where I’m Going LP.
Those are just a handful of the slew of great releases this week, including Gwen Stefani’s Bouquet, Rauw Alejandro’s Cosa Nuestra, Lil Nas X’s “Light Again!,” Sam Fender’s “People Watching,” 070 Shake’s Petrichor and more.
