Watch TWICE Dazzle ‘Thursday Night Football’ Fans With Performance of ‘I Got You’
TWICE has officially conquered the Amazon Music Live stage, with the nine-piece K-pop girl group performing “I Got You” after Thursday Night Football on Prime Video Thursday (Nov. 21).
Divided up across three platforms on stage, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu stood spread out in front of standing microphones, modeling coordinating outfits. Taking turns leading the pack, the girls danced along to each other’s vocals when it wasn’t their turn to sing.
“Ooh, no matter what, you got me/ I got you and I wouldn’t want it any other way,” they sang as fans in the crowd passionately crooned along. “Ooh, no drop of doubt, I know deep down that/ We’ll make it through/ Just like we always do.”
The performance comes about four months after the release of TWICE’s album DIVE, which came a few months after the band scored its first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with EP With YOU-th. In addition to “I Got You,” the six-track project featured “One Spark,” “Rush,” “New New,” “Bloom” and “You Get Me.”
In October, TWICE joined Megan Thee Stallion on the Megan: Act II remix of “Mamushi.” The viral track — which originally features Yuki Chiba — reached No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The girl group is just the latest act to grace the Amazon Music Live stage after Thursday Night Football. Gunna — fresh off his One Of Dem Nights tour — performed for the program a week prior to TWICE, and past guests include Jelly Roll, Big Sean, Halsey and J Balvin.
