Rihanna References Kodak Black Meme While Posing at a Bus Stop Under a Fenty Beauty Ad
Rihanna has her finger on the Internet culture pulse.
The superstar took to Instagram to share a montage of videos in which she’s seen sitting at a bus stop beneath a Fenty Beauty advertisement, soundtracked by an audio from Kodak Black’s viral yet erratic freestyle from Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream earlier this month. During the freestyle, Kodak referenced a 2007 YouTube video titled, Sex? … I’m Just Waiting For the Bus… (Haitian vs. Hooker) from creator Wrekonize, in which an alleged altercation occurs between a man and a sex worker at a bus stop. “I told her, I don’t want sex, I’m just waiting for the bus,” he says in the video.
“I’m just waiting for de bus,” RiRi fittingly captioned her post. See it here.
In her business ventures, Rihanna is gearing up for the festive season. Last month, she launched her Savage x Fenty’s holiday campaign, starring her two boys RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 14 months, in the Forever Savage Onesies. The photos feature Rihanna, Riot and RZA in matching, paisley-print hooded onesies. Rihanna’s hair is in roller while Riot and RZA are wearing hoods. “Yeah I know! We are officially one of those families that match for the holidays,” she captioned the photo. “Forever Savage Onesies for the whole family are on the site now.”
“I love to be a homemaker,” Rih Rih told E! News in October. “I have a lot of women in my home right now, so I just like to be exciting and celebrate things. I’m trying to build new traditions for our little family.”
