Heidi Klum’s Halloween Costume Leaves Fans Stunned

By Elizabeth Forsatz

Every year, the “Queen of Halloween”, Heidi Klum, hosts the biggest and most awaited Halloween party for society’s favorite figures and celebrities. While Klum was previously a Victoria’s Secret supermodel known for her gorgeous appearance and style, she strays away from the bombshell look for this holiday. Some of her previouscostumes include the werewolf from the Thriller music video, Fiona from Shrek, a giant worm, and an ape, all achieved with over-the-top makeup, prosthetics, and costumes. While this party and the press are routine, Klum’s costume is something no one can ever predict.

This year’s party featured celebrities, all in costume, walking the Hard Rock Hotel black carpet in Times Square. While the guests and decorations are some of the most elaborate and spooky you will see, everyone is most excited for the arrival of their host. This year Heidi Klum, accompanied by her husband Tom Kaulitz, paid homage to a classic 80s film.

In an almost cinematic field of leaves, the couple both emerged as versions of the little alien E.T. While Kaulitz dressed as classic E.T, Klum dressed as an alternate scene of the character in a blonde wig, scarf, hat, and other accessories. It’s no surprise that the E.T costumes were mechanical and featured moving eyes and mouths that added to the lifelikeness of the costume.

Some of the other guests included Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini, who dressed up as Sandy and Danny from Grease, Charli D’Amelio as the Black Swan, Bethenny Frankel Bethenny in a classic Wonder Woman suit, and Leni Klum, who matched her mother in an interstellar ensemble.
This yearly party is always one of the best and exclusive of the year, with only the most creative and influential celebrities invited. While an invite is hard to come by, the experience of viewing the party’s pictures and costumes the day after while eating last night’s candy is a perfect Halloween tradition.
