Luis Miguel Sets New Dates for Postponed Shows in Mexico

Luis Miguel has new dates for the concerts in Mexico City that he postponed last week due to unspecified health problems. The Mexico City Arena, marketed as Arena CDMX, informed fans on Thursday (Oct. 31) that the shows will now occur on Dec. 8 and 10.

The first date (Dec. 8) will replace the Oct. 23 and 28 concerts; the second (Dec. 10) will replace the Oct. 24 concert, the arena said in a press release.

People who have purchased tickets will be able to use them for the new presentations without any need for changes. If they do not want to or cannot attend, they can request a refund through Superboletos, the ticketing company in charge of ticket sales at the Mexico City Arena. Those interested can review the instructions on the venue’s social networks.

Luis Miguel has also scheduled two other shows in Mexico City, at the GNP Seguros Stadium, on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, which will be produced by Ocesa. Both concerts were announced as the closing of the singer’s successful tour. Ocesa confirmed to Billboard Español that these shows remain unchanged.

The artist has chosen the Mexican capital as the stage for one of the most important moments of his career, to make a spectacular closing of his Luis Miguel Tour 2023-24, which grossed $318.2 million and sold 2.2 million tickets in its first 146 concerts, according to figures reported in September by Billboard Boxscore. This made it the highest-grossing tour of all time among Latin artists.
