Two people were taken to the hospital after back-to-back stabbings in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — On Tuesday, June 11, there were two stabbing incidents overnight in the Syracuse area.

The first happened early in the evening, a 39-year-old man was dropped off at Upstate University Hospital after being stabbed multiple times.

Syracuse Police say the stabling happened in the 100 block of West Onondaga Street, right in front of Salt City Market.

The man is listed in stable condition.

The second stabbing of the night happened just before midnight, at 11:50 p.m.

Syracuse Police were called to the 100 block of Kenmore Avenue. When they arrived they found a 19-year-old boy with multiple minor stab wounds.

He was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Both investigations are still active and ongoing.
