Trailways bus service offers more routes to Upstate NY locations

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (WWTI) – Upstate New York communities will get to see increased Trailways bus service.

Trailways, who is North America’s largest and oldest network of independent motor coach operators, has launched a new service route that will connect St. Lawrence and Franklin counties along with the Adirondacks by making stops in previously underserved regions of Northern New York State.

The service started on Wednesday, June 16, and provides public transportation for the first time in years in towns such as Gouverneur, De Kalb Junction, Town of Lawrence, Malone, Glen Falls, and Saratoga Springs.

There will also be stops at Adirondack destinations like Lake Placid and Lake George. Additional direct stops at major transit hubs, such as Albany International Airport and Syracuse Hancock International Airport, will ensure worldwide connectivity for travelers in the Adirondack region.

We are excited to bridge a critical gap in public transportation within upstate New York. Our new route provides an essential service for residents and tourists alike, inviting new visitors to explore the Adirondack region.
