Seneca Co. manager on paid leave over ‘unforeseen circumstances’

SENECA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Kyle Lovell, Seneca County’s Manager, has been put on paid leave by the Board of Supervisors.

Chairman Mike Enslow called an emergency meeting on Sunday night, June 9. There was prior notice of the meeting, however, the media was unaware.

The board says the leave is due to “unforeseen circumstances” but has not shared any details further.

Lovell was accounted Deputy County Manager on June 21, 2023, after former manager, Mitch Rowe retired. Lovell was officially named on Aug. 26, 2023.
