Rome woman arrested in domestic incident

ROME, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — A Rome woman has been arrested in a domestic incident that led to a stabbing, according to Rome Police.

Police were called to the 1300 block of Floyd Avenue at approximately 4 pm on Thursday, June 6. Upon their arrival, they were met by a male victim who was suffering from a puncture wound.

The victim said that during the incident, the suspect — later identified as 24-year-old Emily Ulrick of Rome — allegedly stabbed him. The victim allegedly sustained a puncture wound to his upper arm. Police say that the victim’s wounds are non-life threatening

Ulrick was eventually arrested and taken to the Rome Police Department for processing. She was transported to the Oneida County Jail for arraignment. Ulrick is currently being charged with:

  • second-degree Assault, a Class B Violent Felony, and
  • fourth-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a Class A Misdemeanor
