On the Lookout: Sex offender, Than Aye

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — NewsChannel 9 is putting viewers “On the Lookout” for this week’s fugitive.

51-year-old Than Aye is a 5’6″ and 142 lb. Asian male with black hair and brown eyes.

Aye is a Level 1 registered sex offender who has to maintain his registration for a minimum of 20 years, or up until March 2033.

Syracuse Police say he is wanted for not filing a New York state sex offender address form after moving from his last known address on Miles Avenue, in Syracuse.

Additionally, he did not complete and return his annual verification form to the state.

He has two prior local arrests.

Aye has an active arrest warrant for:

• Sex Offender failed to register a change of address
• Sex Offender failed to complete annual registry form
