On the Lookout: Sex offender Derrell Thomas
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — NewsChannel 9 is putting viewers “On the Lookout” for this week’s fugitive.
34-year-old Derrell Thomas is a 5’7″ Black male who is approximately 185 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.
As a Level 2 Register Sex Offender, he is required to maintain his registration for life and let the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services Sex Offender Registry know — in writing — before he plans to move.
However, Thomas did not do as such. In March, he failed to let anyone know of his change of address, according to Syracuse Police.
His last known address is on Delaware Street, in Syracuse.
Police say Thomas also failed to complete and return his Sex Offender Annual Verification form.
He has four prior convictions for not maintaining his Sex Offender registry and 18 prior local arrests.
Anyone with knowledge of Derrell Thomas’s whereabouts should call the police at 315-442-5230.
