Nice n’ comfy tonight into Father’s Day weekend

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – The weekend has arrived, and it is looking to be the best weekend of the year so far! Great timing for the dads out there! Details are below…
Nice n’ comfy and most stay dry tonight
There will be a passing shower or two tonight mainly for areas up north closer to Watertown with a weakening disturbance/trough. Lows drop into the mid-50s to near 60.

Breezy & nice, but a bit cool to start weekend
In the wake of a Friday cold front, high pressure builds in out of Canada and provides us with a gorgeous, cooler start to the weekend! Highs only reach the low 70s despite a wealth of strong, June sun.

How does it look for dad?
Well, Mother Nature is going to be quite kind to the dads of CNY this year. How bout a blend of sun and some high and occasional mid-level clouds that filter and at times may block the sun out.
After we start the day in the 40s, we will warm nicely well into the 70s to low 80s with comfortably low humidity levels.

By early to mid-next week you’ll be wishing for this kind of weather… more on our scorching/dangerous heat coming our way next week here.
