Country superstar Justin Moore set for August concert in Watertown

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Country music star Justin Moore is making his way to the north country this summer.

The Disabled Persons Action Organization announced that Moore will be coming to Watertown for a show on Thursday, August 1. It will be an outdoor show at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.

Openers include Custom Taylor Band, taking the stage at 6 p.m., and Josh Cox and the Rattle Snakes will be on at 7 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m. and show starts at 6 p.m.

The cost for tickets is $95 for Preferred seating in rows 1-5), $75 for Reserved section 1 in rows 6-16), $55 for Reserved section 2 of rows 17-25). General admission tickets are $45 for lawn and bleacher seating.

Active military and student general admission is $25. However, active duty military and student tickets can only be purchased in person with ID at the DPAO Concerts Office at1291 Faichney Drive, Door D in Watertown, NY 13601.

Over his 10-plus year career, Moore’s No. 1 hits have included “Point at You,” “Lettin’ the Night Roll,” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” “Small Town USA,” and “Till My Last Day,” as well as PLATINUM-certified albums and singles. The Valory Music Co. recording artist has earned multiple ACM, ACA, People’s Choice, and ACC Awards nominations, as well as an ACM Award win.

DPAO also announced a concert in partnership with the Cape Vincent French Festival in brining country music act Boomtown Saints on Saturday, July 13.

The Steven Cali Band will be opening, and the event will be outdoors at the Cape Vincent Recreational Park Softball Field in Cape Vincent.

All tickets are standing general admission and are $35. Folding lawn chairs are permitted providing they are carried into the concert area without the bag.

Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets for Justin Moore are on sale as of 10 a.m. Tuesday while the Boomtown Saints show tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, June 11.
