SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Local Syracuse restaurant Ale ‘N’ Angus Pub will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants (ABR) in early July 2024.

ABR is a national media and marketing company focusing on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants.

On July 10, ABR will be at Ale ‘N’ Angus Pub, where popular dishes will be highlighted, along with an extensive on-camera interview with owner Matt Beach about the restaurant’s special place in the community.

Having been open since April 2005, Ale ‘N’ Angus Pub has won ‘Best NY Burger’ from the New York Beef Council seven times and also placed in CNY Battle of the Wings with their Smokey Buffalo Gorgonzola version.

Beach says he is most proud of his staff at his restaurant, and notes this recognition is because of them and why they are so successful.

“They come into work every day with the mindset that work needs to be done, food needs to be consistent, and the customer needs to feel taken care of and that they are important,” Beach said. “The staff has really bought into the Ale ‘N’ Angus Pub system and it is because of them we sit at the top in our profession.”

America’s Best Restaurants will be filming on location on Wednesday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The restaurant’s finished episode premiere date will be announced on its Facebook page and featured on America’s Best Restaurants’ website.

Beach also plans to open a second restaurant in Syracuse this year, Crooked Cattle, in Armory Square.
