2024 Syracuse Polish Festival this weekend at Clinton Square

(WSYR-TV) — Today is the first full day of the summer season, but festival season has already been in full swing.

Today is the start of the Syracuse Polish Festival. Festival emcee Marta Chmielewski and restaurant owner Walter Gaworecki Jr. joined Bridge Street for a preview (and a taste!).

The Syracuse Polish Festival supports the Polish Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit organization that financially helps students of Polish descent follow their academic goals.

The festival will feature the following events:

Friday, June 21 at 12 p.m.

Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall

Saturday, June 22 at 7 p.m.

Scholarship Awards Ceremony

Sunday, June 23 at 2 p.m. 

 Annual Pierogi Eating Contest
