Syracuse Police at Brighton Towers for hours, ask people to avoid the area

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — There has been a large police presence at Brighton Towers.
Syracuse Police say that at around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, officers responded to the apartment complex for a menacing complaint.
At the scene, a woman told police that she was “menaced with what she believed to be a handgun,” according to police.
The investigation continues, and Syracuse Police advise the public to avoid the area.
