Syracuse Crawfish Fest coming to Clinton Square Saturday

(WSYR-TV) — Festival season in Syracuse is finally here. Clinton Square is playing host to the 17th Annual Crawfish Festival this Saturday. It’s fun, with a serious side. To get us ready, we welcomed Laurel Flanagan, the CEO of Operation Northern Comfort, who is putting on the festival.

Operation Northern Comfort is an organization of community volunteers empowering and giving hope to those in need.

This year’s festival will showcase Smoke Dancers from the Onondaga Nation. They did a demo of the dance for us on Bridge Street.

The Syracuse Crawfish Festival is set for Saturday, May 4 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Clinton Square.

It will feature Cajun Food as well as may local favorites, plus food trucks, over 50 crafters and vendors, a main stage and acoustic stage.

Bands include: C’est Bon, The Ripcords, The Barndogs, and Brass Inc.
