SU Goalie completes 24-hour challenge for 15 for Life Foundation

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — As the Syracuse Men’s Lacrosse team gears up for the NCAA Tournament, Patrick Duffy is still looking to raise awareness for mental health.
The Redshirt Junior goalie has been thinking about doing an ultramarathon ever since watching his brother do one and after talking through logistics with the Syracuse staff, Duffy set the plan into motion. He would keep moving for 24 hours straight to raise awareness and money for the 15 for Life Foundation that was created in the memory of Rob Kavovit who took his own life in 2021.
On April 27th, Duffy started his journey at 7 am and completed the challenge as the sun was coming up the next day.

Patrick Duffy is still raising money for the foundation through the end of May and his donation link can be found here.
