Stabbing arrest in the City of Rome


SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — On May 29, around 4 p.m. Rome police responded to a report of a stabbing in the City of Rome.
When police arrived on the scene they found a woman who had been stabbed in the leg. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
A suspect was identified as 18-year-old Kylee Harris of Vernon.
A few hours after the stabbing took place, with assistance from the Utica Police Department, Harris was located in the City of Utica and taken into custody.
Harris was processed and transported to Oneida County Jail and is being held awaiting arraignment.
Harris was charged with Assault in the second degree. More charges are expected.
