NYSP arrest Dexter woman for allegedly stealing over $162,760 from employer


WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 26-year-old Dexter woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly stealing around $163,000 from her employer.
New York State Police charged Jordan Cordero with counts of second-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records. Both of these counts are felonies according to state police.
Troopers received a complaint from DePauville Market, also known as Whitecaps Market, of a possible employee theft. An investigation revealed that Cordero had been a manager of the store since May 21, 2023. While working for the company, a total of $162,760.00 was alleged to have been taken.
She was arrested and arraigned in Jefferson County CAP court and released on her own recognizance.
