Today’s the best weather of the week!

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – We’re feeling pretty springy! Monday’s sunshine carries over into Tuesday, but does it stick around for long? Details below…

Tuesday’s the pick day of the week

High pressure tracks south of us into central Pennsylvania Tuesday with lots of sunshine expected and rising temperatures into the 60s.

This is great weather to spend some time outside, just don’t forget the sunscreen!

It’s still a bit breezy with a gusty northwest wind around 20-25mph.

Rain chances return midweek

Wednesday starts cool, possibly a bit frosty for some too, and sunny. We’ll notice high clouds moving in from the west before they thicken in the afternoon.

By about 3 or 4pm, some rain will try to develop from west to east over central New Yokr in advance of a weakening storm system.

Highs Wednesday should make it into the 60s before the rain moves in.

Wet, breezy Thursday

Overnight Wednesday into Thursday is showery, making Thursday the dampest day of the week.

Thanks to all the cloud sand showers Thursday, highs will struggle to get out of the 50s for most.

Any better Friday?

Friday looks a little drier and sunnier, but during the afternoon an approaching cold front could trigger a few showers during the afternoon.

While Friday is in the mid-60s, will this mild air stick around into the weekend?
