Syracuse men’s lacrosse edges North Carolina


CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WSYR-TV) –
The Syracuse men’s lacrosse team snapped its two-game losing streak, edging North Carolina on the road Saturday 10-9.
SU trailed 3-0 in the first quarter, before scoring seven straight goals.
Joey Spallina, who leads the nation in points, led the Syracuse offense with six points on Saturday.
With the win, SU clinches a spot in the ACC Tournament.
Syracuse improves to 10-4 overall (2-1 in the ACC).
‘Cuse will close out the regular season at the JMA Wireless Dome next Saturday against Virginia.
