Sunny and warmer Friday

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – Temperatures will be warming up through early next week. Will more showers be on the way, too? Details are below…
Finally getting ready to warm up
High pressure remains in control and close to central New York on Friday, so look for another bright and sunny day.
It feels quite nice as the warming trend continues with readings climbing into the 60s to round out the week after another frosty morning!

Weekend warmup, but do we stay dry?
That warming trend will continue all throughout the weekend into Monday. Saturday starts out with a mix of sun and clouds, and highs around the mid-60s. A warm front moves in late Saturday afternoon out of the southwest bringing a few showers.
It looks even warmer with more dry time than not on Sunday with a few spotty showers and storms possible. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. For the first time this spring you will also notice an increase in the humidity.
A very noticeable difference compared to Saturday, but wait until you feel what the start of next week has in store…
