Debbie’s All-Stars holds ALS fundraiser in Cicero

CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Central New York came together to remember Debbie Gazzara-Ralph who passed away from ALS in 2022.

A hockey tournament fundraiser took place in honor of Debbie on Saturday, April 27, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Midstate Athletic Community Center in Cicero.

Debbie spent 22 years of her life as a nurse, and was a fan of the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Penguins.

“My wife Debbie loved hockey and all sports. So I’m sure she’s thrilled about all of this,” Roger Ralph, Debbie’s husband, said.

The event featured a silent auction, raffles, food trucks and more. NewsChannel 9’s own Christie Casciano was also in attendance signing her books.
