After a slow start, sun to return on Wednesday

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – Damp tonight but another stretch of drier, nicer weather is ahead. Details are below…

Cooler, but still nice midweek

In the wake of Tuesday’s cold front, we’ll have plenty of clouds and a touch of drizzle start the day Wednesday, but it turns drier as the day progresses with sun developing for the afternoon. It is certainly a brighter second half of the day.

Highs are cooler, but still above average, as we feel the upper 60s Wednesday afternoon.

Even nicer late week!

A little disturbance swings across northern NY Wednesday night/early Thursday morning that may trigger a few showers well north and east of Syracuse, but in CNY Thursday looks pretty nice!

We should see intervals of sun become more prevalent during the afternoon with a steady breeze and highs a bit cooler, but still nice mid 60s.

The sun may fade behind increasing clouds towards sunset Friday, but all in all Friday looks great and warmer too! Highs on Friday should make it into the mid-70s.

Wet weather his weekend??

The next weather maker unfortunately appears to be slated to arrive Saturday with some showers moving in ahead of a weakening cold front.

Right now, Sunday looks to be the better half of the weekend with a lingering shower or two possible.

It’s a breezy weekend too with highs near 70 Saturday, and probably mid to upper 60s Sunday for Cinco De Mayo.
