Will the bunny have to hop thru drops or flakes?

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – Wondering if the weather is going to cooperate for Easter weekend? If so, the answer lies below…
Surely many of you have plans with family and or friends over the Easter holiday weekend. The question is does the weather cooperate? Let’s hop to it…
SATURDAY:
The start of the weekend is looking a bit breezy, but dry with some sun too! Temperatures start in the 30s Saturday morning, and slowly rise into the 40s during the later morning and much of the afternoon with a high up around 50 during the afternoon. So if you are planning on being outside taking part in an egg hunt with the kids, or anything else be sure to dress accordingly as it will feel cool, especially in the shade.
The best chance of seeing any precipitation likely comes Saturday night with a bit of rain and or snow possibly moving through with a weak wave of low pressure sliding south of us. There could be a slushy coating to an inch in spots, mainly across the hills. Lows drop into the low to mid 30s Saturday night.
EASTER SUNDAY:
Would the Storm Team say Easter looks eggcellent in CNY? Probably not, but it does appear to be mainly dry at least, with maybe a lingering snow/rain shower around sunrise.
At this point, we do think there’ll be some sun for the holiday but if you are outside for an egg hunt and or sunrise church service be sure to dress for a chill. We expect temperatures to start in the 30s and top out in the 40s for the afternoon.
So overall, we think the Easter Bunny should be pretty pleased by the weather expected for CNY, especially since Easter is so early this year! Stay tuned for updates.
