Watertown man arrest after stabbing outside of pizza place


WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – An 18-year-old Watertown man is facing multiple charges after an alleged stabbing in front of Little Caesar’s on State Street in Watertown.
Watertown City Police arrested Shayquan Jaheim Bullocks and charged him with Assault in the first Degree, a Class B Felony, Assault in the second Degree, a Class D Felony, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
In a press release, uniformed patrols responded just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 to 420 State Street. It’s alleged that Bullocks struck a 31-year-old female in the head and hand with a machete causing cuts. Bullocks then also allegedly struck a 30-year-old male in the face with a machete. Those blows caused lacerations as well.
The female was transported to Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown and was treated in released. The male was was airlifted to SUNY Upstate University Hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition.
Watertown police were aided by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Watertown City Fire Department and Guilfoyle Ambulance Service.
