ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Multiple people were injured after a FedEx truck crashed and was left hanging over a bridge above Pittsford Mendon Center Road.
New York State Police said the truck was traveling on the overpass when it sideswiped a disabled vehicle before exiting the roadway and overturning.
Firefighters said the driver was found conscious and alert on the side of the road. A second vehicle with a family — three adults and an infant — was also found. All five were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with seemingly minor injuries.

The Thruway Authority says the right lane on I-90 between Exits 46 and 45 is now at stop-and-go traffic. Hazmat crews are on the scene due to several gallons of diesel fuel spilling out of the truck. Once the truck is removed, the I-90 thruway will re-open.
