SU’s Felisha Legette-Jack wins ACC Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year


SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — In just her second year as head coach for Syracuse Women’s Basketball team, Felisha Legette Jack wins the ACC Coach of the Year.
Felisha Legette-Jack is the first Syracuse coach, men’s or women’s, to earn ACC Coach of the Year honors in basketball. She also becomes the third Syracuse women’s basketball head coach to be named Coach of the Year in their conference.
Dyaisha Fair and Alyssa Latham also took home honors. Fair was named first team All-ACC and was the runner up in ACC Player of the Year voting while Latham earned All-Freshman Team honors.
SU is currently the three-seed in the ACC Tournament and have a double-bye, which means they will play in the quarterfinal game on Friday.
The Orange finished the regular season 23-6 overall and 13-5 in ACC play.
