SU gets road win over Hokies

BLACKSBURG, V.A. (WSYR) — Syracuse started the day with a 7-0 run and kept the lead the entire game beating Virginia Tech 15-5.

Olivia Adamson, Emma Ward, and Maddy Baxter all finished with hat tricks and Ward recorded a season high six points. Kate Mashewske racked up 11 draw controls, her third game in the last four where she has gotten 10+ draw controls. Delaney Sweitzer finished the day with four saves, three ground balls and a caused turnover.

Syracuse rides this win all the way back home as they host #8 North Carolina next Saturday, March 16th at noon.
