Parking garage across from Marriot Syracuse Downtown shut down by city

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A parking garage across from the Marriot Syracuse Downtown was shut down by the City of Syracuse Division of Code Enforcement.

The garage at 501-23 South Salina Street and Harrison Street was closed due to “unaddressed code violations regarding unsanitary conditions, safe fire access and exit, and failure to have adequate security measures,” Greg Loh, chief policy officer for the city, said.

A flyer was posted at the garage stating that vehicles stopped being allowed in at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 14. It also stated that vehicles need to be cleared from the garage by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 15.
