Not as cold tonight, even milder Tuesday

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – Spring feel continues to build back into CNY early this week after taking about a week hiatus. How mild does it get, and when is the next chance of rain?? Details are below…

Warming trend continues…

Spring temperatures continue to make a comeback across the region through midweek after a wintry start to official spring.

After making it to 50 on Monday in Syracuse, we think at least mid-50s will be felt Tuesday despite sun fading behind clouds Tuesday afternoon.

The milder air peaks Wednesday with highs likely reaching the 60s before we start to cool thereafter. Also, it’s not as cold overnight either.

These milder temperatures with some sunshine at times into midweek should help continue to melt much the rest of the snow away from the Friday night/Saturday system.

Next chance of rain

The next chance of rain showers returns later Tuesday night and then a few spotty showers may linger into Wednesday as a cold front moves into the area, but much of Wednesday looks to be dry.

Drier conditions return for the end of the week in the wake of the front along with cooler, more seasonable temperatures as we head towards Easter weekend.

Stay tuned for updates.
