Manlius Police arrest driver in school bus incident

MANLIUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Police in Manlius arresting the driver they say blew past a stopped school bus.

Investigators say on March 28th, Quang Van Pham, 66, of Syracuse, was driving a 2010 Toyota Camry on Highbridge Road, when he left the road to pass the school bus on the right as a student was preparing to step off. Pham drove back onto the road and left the scene.

Pham was quickly identified, located, and arrested for Reckless Endangerment. He was released on an appearance ticket in the Town of Manlius Court. He was also issued multiple traffic tickets, including failing to stop for a school bus, following too closely, speed not reasonable and prudent, moving from lane unsafely, and reckless driving.
