Le Moyne’s Sutherland and Cleary named to NEC team all-stars

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — Le Moyne basketball’s Luke Sutherland and Kaiyem Cleary picked up NEC awards today.

Cleary was named to the first team all-stars and has made a big impact for the Dolphins this year. He was a two-time NEC Player of the Week and is the league’s third-leading scorer at 15.5 points per game.

Sutherland was recognized as a second team all-star and ranks fourth in the league in three-point accuracy (.382) and is sixth in scoring with 15 ppg.

The Dolphins grabbed the fourth seed in the Northeast Conference Tournament and will host FDU for the first round on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
