Dropkick Murphys are returning to the Fair for their 4th show

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Just in time for St Patrick’s Day, the Dropkick Murphys have been added to the 2024 New York State Fair lineup.

This is their fourth appearance, with their first being in 2018. The Fair says at the time, they were booked as a last-minute replacement for Dickey Betts.

This year, the Celtic-inspired rock band will be performing at Suburban Park Stage on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 8 p.m.

The Dropkick Murphys have half a billion streams and sell out venues worldwide. 

“With 2024 marking the fourth year they’ve ‘shipped up to Syracuse,’ it’s seems that our fairgoers continue giving them a reason to come back! Nothing gets us more pumped than the anticipation of these Boston boys tear up the Suburban Park Stage, so we’re thrilled to see them return to the Great New York State Fair once again,” said Interim Fair Director Julie LaFave.
