CNY temperatures headed downward

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – The nicer, spring feel to the air this week is coming to an end. How cool is going to get as we head towards the holiday weekend? Find out below…

Cooling back down…

A cold front sliding through Wednesday evening is knocking temperatures back down to more seasonable levels for central New York. Gone will be the 60s of the past few days replaced by more seasonable 40s.

While Thursday is a fairly comfortable day, we do have to caution that a gusty breeze on Friday makes it feel more like it is in the 30s. Plus, there may be a period of cloudy weather by early afternoon.

Little or no precipitation the rest of the week

The best chance of any showers for the rest of the week appears to be tonight as a cold front slowly slides through. There may also be some sprinkles/flurries around on Friday, but other than that it looks to stay dry the remainder of the week.
