Leading scorer Meaghan Tyrrell converted on her lone shot of the game and assisted on three more goals to bring her season point total to 88. Freshman Olivia Adamson has been a standout of late. She scored three goals and has tallied 12 points in the last three games.

Senior Sarah Cooper was a force all over the field in the victory. The defensive stalwart recorded three groundballs, three draw controls, two caused turnovers, and netted her second career goal.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Boston College (13-2, 5-2) suffered its second loss of the season at Duke last Saturday, 16-15. Facing a 13-7 deficit early in the third quarter, the Eagles mounted a furious comeback to tie the game with 2:40 remaining before ultimately coming up short.

Defending Tewaraaton Award winner Charlotte North has scored 68 goals and tallied 98 draw controls this season. The Eagles’ attack also features senior Jenn Medjid and sophomore Belle Smith. The two have recorded 69 and 54 points, respectively.

SERIES HISTORY
The last time these two teams met was with the 2021 national championship on the line in Towson, Maryland. Boston College pulled away in the second half to record a 16-10 victory, ending Syracuse’s bid for its first-ever title.

‘Cuse leads the all-time series, 18-7. The teams met four times last season. Each team won a game played in Syracuse during the regular season before the Orange defeated the Eagles in the ACC Tournament semifinals.
