SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 4 Syracuse will face the UAlbany Great Danes on Tuesday, April 19 in the Carrier Dome in the final regular-season home game. Opening draw is set for 4 p.m.

RECORD WATCH

Graduate student Emily Hawryschuk is three goals away from becoming Syracuse’s all-time leader in goals scored. She enters Tuesday’s game with 258 career goals, which is two shy of head coach Kayla Treanor‘s record of 260 (2013-16).
 
ORANGE UPDATE
The Orange (12-3) improved to 6-1 in ACC play with a 23-13 victory against conference foe Louisville on Saturday. A competitive, one-goal game at halftime was blown open during a third quarter in which Syracuse outscored the Cardinals, 12-3. 
 
Junior Kate Mashewske had a career day in the draw circle, tying the single-game school record with 19 draw controls. Her 120 draw controls on the season rank seventh in the NCAA. Senior Meaghan Tyrrell added another seven points (5g, 2a) to her season tally, bringing it to 84. That total ranks seventh in the NCAA.
 
Junior Savannah Sweitzer and freshman Olivia Adamson both set career-highs with three goals. 
 
SCOUTING UALBANY
The Great Danes (6-6) have proven to be road warriors of late as Tuesday’s game is their fifth straight away game. UAlbany has won three straight with victories against Vermont, New Hampshire, and UMBC.
 
UAlbany’s offense runs through midfielders Katie Pascale and Sarah Falk. The two have combined for an impressive 114 points this season (Pascale 65, Falk 49).
 
Syracuse will be UAlbany’s fourth ranked opponent of the year. The Great Danes lost all three previous contests.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday with be the 15th meeting between Syracuse and UAlbany in their programs’ history. The Orange have never lost to the Great Danes, claiming a 14-0 advantage in the series.
 
Last season, Syracuse traveled to Albany, N.Y. and defeated the Great Danes 16-6. Syracuse shut out UAlbany in the first half and led 12-0 at intermission. Meaghan Tyrrell and Megan Carney scored five goals apiece to lead the ‘Cuse offense.
 
UP NEXT
Syracuse will travel to Chestnut Hill, Mass. to face defending national champion Boston College on Friday, April 22 in the regular-season finale. Game time is set for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
