SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 5 Syracuse returns home following a three-game road trip to host Temple on Saturday, March 26 at the Carrier Dome. Opening draw is set for 4:30 p.m.
 
Tickets for Saturday’s doubleheader with the Orange men’s lacrosse team are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Cuse.com/tickets. Saturday is Military Appreciation Day in the Dome. Active military and veterans can purchase up to four discounted tickets at the box office by showing their military ID. ORANGE UPDATE
‘Cuse (7-2, 4-0) bounced back from its second loss of the season with a dominating 17-5 victory over ACC foe Virginia Tech last Saturday. Led by Meaghan Tyrell (4g, 3a) and Megan Carney (3 g, 4a), the team stormed back from an early two-goal deficit and went on a 13-1 run that ended midway through the third quarter.
 
While the offense was clicking, the defense gave up its lowest goal total of the season. It marked the third time the Orange has held their opponent to a single-digit goal total in nine games.
 
Grad student Emily Hawryschuk was also instrumental in the win, tallying five goals. She now has 27 points in the past five games.
 
SCOUTING THE OWLS
Temple is coming off a 13-10 victory against Monmouth on Wednesday, which improved its record to 7-3.
 
Quinn Nicolai leads the Owls in goals with 33, while Belle Mastropietro is right behind with 32. Mastropietro has 44 points this season, which lead the squad. Mackenzie Roth has a team-high 23 assists to go along with 13 goals.
 
Annie Carroll has started all 10 games in goal for Temple. She has a 10.10 goals-against average and a .439 save percentage.
 
SERIES HISTORY

This will be the first ever meeting between Syracuse and Temple. The Owls have a 3-1 record in road games this season, while the Orange are undefeated (4-0) at home.
