GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No. 3 Syracuse continues its three-game road trip on Wednesday, March 16 when it takes on No. 13 Florida. Opening draw is set for 6:30 p.m.

‘CUSE UPDATE
Syracuse (6-1, 3-0) remained unbeaten in conference play after a 17-11 win at No. 14 Virginia last Saturday in Charlottesville. Senior Meaghan Tyrrell scored five goals and was one of five players to score multiple goals for the Orange.
Redshirt junior Kimber Hower made her second start in goal for Syracuse. In her last two games, Hower has 13 saves.
ORANGE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Syracuse has one of the top-scoring offenses in the nation. The Orange are averaging 16.29 goals per game, which rank seventh in the nation. Syracuse also ranks in the top 10 nationally in points per game (8th), assists per game (8th) and shooting percentage (6th).
SCOUTING THE GATORS
Florida enters Wednesday’s game with a 2-4 record after a 12-9 loss to No. 9 Loyola last Saturday.
Danielle Pavinelli leads the Gators in points (29) and goals (22). She also is tied for the team lead in assists (7) with Emma LoPinto.
Sarah Reznick has started all six games in goal for Florida. She has a 12.34 goals-against average and .381 save percentage.
SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday’s game marks the 13th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Florida. The Orange lead the series between the two schools, 8-4. The squads last met in the 2021 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals in Syracuse. Emma Ward scored a career-high six goals to lead the Orange to a 17-11 victory and Championship Weekend for the eighth time in program history.
