Women's Basketball Wraps Up Regular Season Sunday

Syracuse (11-16, 4-13 ACC) wraps up the regular season Sunday afternoon in the Carrier Dome when the Orange host Boston College (18-10, 9-8 ACC) in the ACC finale. Tip-off is set for noon on ACC Network.

The Orange hope to secure their 10th home win of the season Sunday afternoon. Syracuse is 9-6 overall in the Dome and has won two of its last six games. All five Orange starters average double figures in points per game this season with Teisha Hyman leading the team (15.7 ppg). Hyman is coming off a 26-point performance in Thursday night’s 76-60 loss at Wake Forest. It was the redshirt sophomore’s seventh 20-plus point game of the season and her 16th-straight game scoring in double figures.

Boston College is led by Cameron Swartz (16.0 ppg) and Taylor Soule (15.3 ppg). The Eagles have won three of their last four games and are currently positioned on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament. BC averages 74.2 points per game and are shooting a collective 44.8 percent from the field.

Syracuse leads the all-time series 35-25 but the Eagles won the first meeting of the 2021-22 season with a 95-71 win in Conte Forum on Jan. 6.

Prior to the start of the game, Syracuse will recognize it’s senior class in a brief Senior Day ceremony. The five Orange being celebrated are Chrislyn Carr, Christianna Carr, Naje Murray, Alaysia Styles and Jayla Thrornton.
