Bleich To Return for Sixth Season
Syracuse guard Chris Bleich publicly announced his intention to utilize a sixth year of eligibility in Orange, marking the first graduate starter to make the declaration.
The move signals continued continuity off an Orange squad that has Improved its win total in back-to-back seasons, securing a winning season with a bowl to go this year.

Syracuse heads towards 2023 with the ability to retain all-but-three players on its final regular season two-deep. While there are some players with remaining eligibility who participated in the Senior Walk, signaling they’ll likely declare for the draft or not utilize a sixth year in some cases – only Dakota Davis, Devaughn Cooper and Eric Coley have exhausted all eligibility among offensive and defensive units.
