LIVERPOOL, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A water main break caused a ceiling collapse in Park Rose Estates at West Taft Road and a dead-end in Liverpool, causing residents to evacuate the building into frigid weather.
Onondaga County Fire Department responded to a call of a building collapse at around 3:35 p.m., according to Onondaga County Fire Department’s Facebook page.
1st and 2nd Centro buses were on scene, picking up residents of the retirement community and taking them away from the collapse to a building next door. Onondaga County Fire Department says.
Family members are now picking up residents.
