Owner of Lookers Showclub banned from doing business in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — On Thursday, February 1, State Supreme Court Judge Rory McMahon banned Kevin Quinn, the owner of Lookers Showclub on North Salina Street in Syracuse, from ever being associated with any entertainment, alcohol or cannabis business in Syracuse.

Quinn also must pay a $1,000 fine to the city.

In September, a judge revoked the club’s permit and ordered it to stop operating as a restaurant with live entertainment as the city presented evidence that Lookers ignored a court order requiring the club to close at 2 a.m.

“This is a win for the northside neighborhood that suffered from Looker’s repeated violations of both city permits and Judge McMahon’s order,” said Mayor Walsh. “Syracuse welcomes businesses and investment that serve the community, create jobs and strengthen our neighborhoods. We won’t tolerate bad owners who show disregard for their neighbors and harm public safety.”
