WADDINGTON, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 24-year-old North Carolina man is facing weapons charges after a traffic stop Wednesday, Feb. 7, in St. Lawrence County.
New York State Troopers said Allan Stone of Salisbury was stopped in the Town of Waddington after the vehicle he was driving allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign. Authorities said there were multiple firearms, including a ghost gun, and loaded magazines. A ghost gun is a weapon made without a serial number and is said to be untraceable.
He was charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Stone was arraigned in Waddington Town Court.
He was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
