SYRACUSE, N.Y. (SYRACUSE ATHLETICS) — Syracuse’s first matchup with one of the ACC’s newest members will take place on Friday, Sept. 20, when Stanford visits the JMA Wireless Dome.
The announcement comes as part of the ACC’s schedule rollout, where the league announced all Thursday and Friday games this upcoming season on Tuesday. In addition to the Friday night contest with the Cardinal, the Orange will play at longtime rival Pittsburgh on Thursday, Oct. 24.
The game vs. the Panthers will serve as the 80th all-time matchup between the two schools, in a series that dates back over 100 years.
Four Syracuse football dates this season have now been announced. In addition to the two conference games announced today, the season opener vs. Ohio on Aug. 31 and a road trip to UNLV on Oct. 5 have also been set. The remainder of the football schedule will be announced at 5 p.m. on Wednesday on the ACC Huddle: 2024 Football Schedule Release show that will be televised on ACC Network and ESPN2.
Fans interested in new season tickets for 2024, can put down a deposit today to begin the process for 2024 tickets. The reseat process will begin with the football season ticket renewal and purchase process on February 1. In preparation for the February on-sale dates, season ticket holders are encouraged to review the new pricing and seating maps for 2024.
