SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The best pinball players from across the Northeast will be in Central New York as the New York State Pinball Championships will be held in Syracuse this weekend, Jan. 20-21.

Skill Shot Arcade on East Molloy Street will play host to the championships.

Players will be split up into men’s and women’s divisions and play head-to-head for a chance to win the title, along with thousands of dollars in cash prizes.

This marks the first time in the history of competitive pinball that the NYS Championships have been held in Syracuse.

The championships will be closed to the public due to concerns about distractions for the players. But you can visit Skill Shot Arcade on Wednesday nights from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. or Friday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

You can also book the arcade for private parties or events on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
