Baby2Baby Gala is returning to Los Angeles on November 11, and Snoop Dogg will be taking the stage to perform at the charitable event, Billboard can exclusively reveal.
In honor of his performance, Baby2Baby is set to provide nearly 300,000 essential items to support the children in the Snoop Youth Football and Basketball Leagues and Snoop Special Stars, which work to help thousands of inner-city children across Los Angeles to participate in youth football, youth basketball and cheerleading. Items donated include hygiene products, blankets, school supply kits, educational toys, sporting equipment and more.
The Baby2Baby Gala previously announced that Salma Hayek Pinault will be honored with the Giving Tree Award, given to a celebrity who has “demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving the lives of children in need around the world,” per a press release.
In the last 12 years, Baby2Baby has distributed more than 350 million essential items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care agencies, hospitals and underserved school districts. The annual gala single-handedly raises millions of dollars each year for the non-profit organization run by Co-CEOs Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof.
More information about the event, including presenters, expected attendees, and more will be announced in the coming weeks. Learn more about Baby2Baby here.
